What is ACEC OKLAHOMA?
The American Council of Engineering Companies of Oklahoma (ACEC OKLAHOMA) is
the state trade association representing the professional, private practice consulting
engineering, architectural engineering, and land surveying companies of Oklahoma.
Formed in 1954, ACEC OKLAHOMA is an independent, nonprofit, voluntary business
trade organization specifically concerned with the problems of operating and managing
professional, private practice consulting engineering firms.
ACEC OKLAHOMA is a state member organization of the Washington, DC based
American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC).
The ACEC OKLAHOMA and the ACEC are the only state and national engineering
organizations devoted exclusively to advancing the business interests of consulting
engineering firms. While there are many technical and professional societies promoting
the practice of engineering, ACEC OKLAHOMA and ACEC concentrate on the BUSINESS of
design consulting.
ACEC OKLAHOMA member firms, which employ nearly 2,000 engineers, architects, land
surveyors, scientists, and other specialists, are responsible for approximately $250
million worth of design for private and public works projects in Oklahoma and across the
country annually. Member firms range in size from a single registered professional
engineer to corporations employing hundreds of professionals.
ACEC OKLAHOMA and ACEC's professional staff constantly provide services and
assistance to assure that private-practice consulting engineering firms have the best
possible business, economic and political environments in which to operate your
business. These initiatives are all designed to enhance your bottom line.
Our goals are your goals:
